R & D / Technical Center

Our technical center is equipped with two injection molding machines from Arburg Allrounder 920S and ARBURG 570 Golden Edition, with the FARO arm Quantum and other analytical equipment (eg thermal imaging camera or FLIR E32 Digital Microscope)

Using our plastic injection presses, we can sample injection molds requiring up to 500 ton clamping force. During the preproduction stage we can support our customers with prototypes and short production runs in-house.

 

With our FARO Measuring Arm Quantum we are able to perform tactile measurements with an accuracy of ± 0.02 mm. We also have a FARO Laser Scanner to quickly and efficiently compare the model against the CAD design. The advantage of the FARO Measuring Arm Quantum and the FARO Laser Scanner is mobility, offering the possibility to set it up and take it down within minutes to verify contour geometries on site (e.g. injection molds during production runs).

 

The thermal imaging camera FLIR E32 is used during sampling sessions to visualize the cooling behavior of the moldings.

 

Our portable digital microscope is used to take photos of surfaces up to a 200-fold magnification. With these photos, we are able to evaluate the surface quality of mold cavities, plastic molding and other objects.
